The Elba Palace is the ultimate great value golf resort in the Canaries, you need look no further for the best value/quality ratio with golf inclusion.
This small boutique golf hotel is a classic 61 bedroom hotel right on the Fuerteventura Golf Course. Standard rooms will have golf course or sea view. This is the perfect getaway, a relaxing golf holiday venue, where temperatures rarely dip less than 24°c and rarely rise above 30°c. They say locally Fuerteventura has 2 seasons:- Spring and Summer. Spring being November to April and Summer, May to October. Rainfall is so rare that they only see about 7 days of rain annually.
At the Elba Palace from April to October, you dine outside in a charming courtyard plaza area, surrounded by palm trees, it is exquisite. The staff here are excellent and very personal, extremely and naturally pleasant - what one lacks in larger less personalised hotels in places like Turkey.
Dining is a pleasure, as you have buffets for starter and desert or off menu if you prefer and a main course with a wide choice of fish and meat dishes. We very much recommend the fillet steak! All our clients are automatically booked on dinner, bed and breakfast.
Fuerteventura’s Elba Palace has 61 identical deluxe standard rooms which are beautifully appointed, spacious rooms, balconies and bathrooms with Jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower.
There is no question that Elba Palace offers stunning value for money, ideal for the holiday golfer.
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands and the closest to the African coast, which means that it enjoys excellent weather throughout the year. The proximity of the Elba Golf Hotel to both of the golf courses and airport allows for a holiday without the need to hire a car. When necessary the local taxis are efficient and cheap. You will need to hire a taxi to Salinas circa 5 euros each way. The airport is just 20 minutes transfer.
Luxury double rooms - All with private terrace or balcony and view over the sea and the golf course, with 6 types of decorations carefully designed right down to the finest detail. True to traditional Canary Island style, warm earthy colours blend harmoniously with features in wood, stone and terracotta. Some rooms have golf view.
Suites - Located at each corner of the building. All are specially designed and tastefully decorated and have spacious terraces and unbeatable views, as well as large bathrooms and dressing rooms. Suites also have a separate lounge area.
A delicious cold and hot breakfast buffet with typical local and international fresh produce.
(Nineteenth Hole) - Snack menu and Mediterranean Cuisine.. opportunity to eat inside or al fresco.
A la carte restaurant - This restaurant mixes traditional and nouvelle Cuisine with a Canarian influence and national and international wines. There is a choice of buffet or a la carte for starters and desserts, whilst main course is from a la carte menu.
The Fuerteventura greens are a real treat and with some tough par 4 holes all abilities will be tested, particularly when the prevailing wind blows. The practice facilities are very good and you are assured some great Canarian ambience at the Clubhouse. This is palm tree golf by the seaside, flat but exhilarating and right next to the hotel Elba Palace.
The Salinas course opened in 2007 and was designed by legendary Manuel Pinero who is now getting a fine reputation as a designer. The course is a little shorter than Fuerteventura, with more heavy bunkering on the fairways, as well as around the greens, it is tougher with narrower fairways and quite a few well placed water hazards. A clear head is required to play well here and this again is perfect palm tree golf next to the ocean, with a sea breeze and the smell of the ocean.
Our holiday was excellent and the services you provided were first class as always. David Fox (May.15)
We had another great holiday at Elba Palace. We were glad we had decided to upgrade to a suite as the extra sitting room was a real treat and enjoyed the extra space. The hotel and staff were as good as ever-very friendly service and excellent food. The whole golfing experience is just what we are looking for - golf right on the doorstop and a very short drive from the airport. S.McDougall (Apr.15)
I am pleased to say that our holiday was a great success. THe Elba Palace Hotel was a good hotel, the rooms and dining were excellent. Our group enjoyed the golf and the service the hotel provided. Our group regularly takes golfing holidays and we found this holiday overall to be of a high standard. L.Wilkinson (Apr.15)
Thank you for your email. As always - the experience of our recent stay at the Elba Palace on Fuerteventura was first class. Elegant Resorts take all the worry out of planning the trip. - everything went like clockwork - flights, transfers etc all up to scratch. The hotel was just as good as we remembered it - in fact the food was even better - a filet mignon one night will go down in my memory as the best steak I've ever eaten. The golf was ideal - tee times all booked and the first tee just a stroll away from the breakfast table. We also got a great welcome from the staff, who remembered us from previous years - I definitely hope to return again. Sandra McDougall (Apr.14)
Elba Palace was exactly what we needed for our trip. Our friends were shattered from working very hard and long hours for 6 months and Sue and I were fed up with the weather and wanted some winter sun and some golf. Elba Palace was perfect for this. The staff were friendly, unusually the guests were all couples and probably 75% golfers so the evening when they put us all together on tables of 8 helped create a lovely atmosphere for the rest of the week. uerteventura itself doesn't warrant more than a days drive around (which we did) so I wouldn't go back there to see the Island but as a restful break it was ideal. Whilst early in the year the course needed a bit more tender care which I am sure will happen and needs some sand in the bunkers but that is nit picking. It's not a place for a boys tour though. You can write me up as a satisfied customer! I thought you were very prompt and efficient in booking the holiday at short notice. We found the Elba Palace Hotel excellent - we did upgrade to a suite when we got there (as I mentioned was quite likely). We were greeted by a wonderful receptionist called Emily, and the sub-Director Pilar was also very welcoming and helpful. The Director of the hotel was also nearly always around, so the whole feel of the hotel was that it was very well run and personal service was important. We played both the hotel course and Las Salinas. Both courses were ideal for holiday golf, not too difficult but still quite demanding and interesting. The greens at Las Salinas were in better condition, but we enjoyed both courses. As we were a two-ball the starters matched us up with English-speaking playing partners and that worked out very well. The huge hotels on the sea-front looked pretty uninspiring and indeed the island is pretty ugly, with half-built developments scarring what is already a none-too-lovely landscape. But the Elba Palace Hotel is like an oasis of green tranquility. The courtyard in the centre of the hotel with palm-trees full of nesting doves is particularly lovely. I would certainly consider using your services again. Rosemary Kennett (Mar.14)
Thanks Gary, the holiday was great and the hotel excellent pity the golf (mine) wasn’t the same. Everything went as planned and the service was excellent as usual. Once again many thanks. John McKie (Feb.14)
