Tucked away in a balmy corner of Abama’s Citadel building, Cubanika will transport guests straight to 1940s Havana, taking inspiration from old Havana’s most infamous hub of Cuban Bohemia and birthplace of the Mojito - La Bodeguita del Medio. In true Cuban style, this bar is specialized in Rum cocktails offering not only an extensive menu of rum and Mojitos but also introducing its very own cigar label “Abama Luxury”, working with the oldest cigar factory in the Canaries. ‘Abama Luxury’ is made from the highest quality leaf, harvested in 2012 and rolled in the bar by Cubanika’s very own Cigar Sommelier.

Wines can also be paired by the sommelier, which is a great idea to maximise the whole experience.

Abama Golf is the number one course on the island with ocean views on all 18 holes, with equally impressive views of Mount Teide inland. The course excites at every twist and turn, there are a few up hill holes, like 2, 3 5 and 13, but there seem to be many more down hill holes which exhilarate, with stunning elevated tee shots. Holes like 7 8 9 and 10 take the breath away, with roller coaster down hill shots, with amazing ocean back drops. Beware the tough finishing hole which is arguably the hardest hole on the golf course! Buggies are always included at Abama! We highly recommend our golf and spa packages, which run up to the end of April and from October, which include on a 7 night stay 4 rounds of golf with buggy or for non golfers, 450 euros of spa credit. Or stay in any room category with ocean view and receive free daily golf every day of your stay, saving you more than 700 euros.
All of us had absolutely great time at Abama. We had an absolute exemplary service. Golf course was fantastic , although if the greens were easier then scores would have been better! The response and the organisation of elegant golf was excellent . Very easy to deal with your company. Sunila Patel (May.16)
Our stay at Abama was excellent. The room allocated was perfect and we were particularly pleased with this as we know that the hotel was very busy and that you were able to arrange this directly with the hotel - many thanks for this. As always your prompt response & help with booking make your company a favourite for us. Amanda Cahill (May.16)
We had an excellent holiday at Abama. I could not fault a thing from the moment we arrived at the airport until we left. Ian McLaren (Feb.16)
We had a great time at Abama, the new club addition was very good. The golf course is always enjoyable to play. Thanks once again for organising the trip to Abama so professionally. Geoffrey Shopland (Nov.15)
We all said the staff at Abama were exceptional at whatever level, nothing was too much trouble.Golf was fabulous and not overcrowded at all. The girls loved the spa and the variety of pools and beach. Every restaurant surpassed expectation even the Tapas. We were always looked after by charming staff, I am sure we will return V.Lebus (Oct.15)

This holiday was my second experience of both Abama and Elegant Golf Resorts. Both organisations gave great service, for which many thanks. There are no comments to offer about improving the service, just keep up the good work! We will certainly come back to you either for Abama again or a different location. John Holmes (Feb.14)
Robert and I had a really great time at Abama. We noticed a significant improvement across the board at the hotel and at the golf club. The hotel is currently exceptionally well managed. The staff is friendly, helpful and always in evidence. In particularly, the duty manager was most impressive. The breakfast was excellent. We only ate in the hotel one evening (El Mirador – fish restaurant) and the food was first class. The weather was poor one day and the hotel made enormous efforts to ensure children were entertained and there were dance classes and a dance show for the adults. The biggest difference we encountered from our previous visit was at the golf club. There were lots of staff around and the caddy masters / starters had everything running like clockwork. The course is in great condition but the greens have a touch of the crazy golf about them – they are so fast. The upgrade to a junior suite was greatly appreciated. A really wonderful break; can't wait to go back. - Marian Condie
First of all your service was 1st class in all respects. Hotel and service for Targor villas could not be faulted. Golf course.A superb course spoilt by greens designed by a fool !!! Flights comfortable and on time as were the limo transfers. What more can I say. - John Gaynor
Just got back home early this morning, we had a wonderful time. Very expensive hotel but well worth the money for the retreat and recreation we enjoyed. The course is also fantastic, quite tough, in excellent condition and as pretty as anything I have ever played on. Thank you for organising for us at such short notice, we really appreciated it - Brian Beckett
