The Gloria Serenity Resort is the most impressive beach and golf hotel in Belek. What makes it the best? The styling and architecture are fascinating and very clever, the main building in built in a circle from which there are two wings. The French, Aegean and Asian restaurants, the Serenity Spa, gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, the lobby bar and the main restaurant are all accessible as you walk around the circle.
The hotel offers half board options which includes wines with your evening meals and you have the excellent buffets each evening, but most people take the all inclusive supplement, which gives you inclusive food and beverage and a very fine array of liquor and all snacks plus afternoon tea and cakes from the Patisserie are also included. Choose between Gordon's or Hendrick's gin, Johnnie Walker Black Label whisky, very good Turkish champagne, a great selection of cocktails, aperitifs and post dinner liqueurs also, Irish Coffee etc.Cointreau, Zambuca, etc
During your weekly stay you are entitled to eat 3 times in the a la carte restaurants, during the winter months this includes the excellent French, the Aegean, which is a fusion of Greek and Turkish cuisine and the first class Asian option. In the mid April to October period you also have the option of dining by the riverbank on the way to the beach in the outdoor fish restaurant, a wonderful al fresco experience. Also in these high season months you can also dine al fresco in the French, Asian and Aegean outlets overlooking the Laguna Pools on the seaside side of the Serenity.
The buffet dining is however exceptional and there are 4 to 6 different dining rooms you can sit in, giving you different ambiences each time, including a lovely outdoor area which is sheltered and takes advantage of large barbecues which include some fine meat and fish selections. In the Summer and Spring months you can enjoy from 12 noon to 4 pm the Italian or the Steakhouse Route 66 al fresco restaurants, which are equally impressive, this eases the pressure on the restaurants in the evenings. The themed evening buffets offer a wonderful array of international cuisine, giving plenty of variety every night.
The service in the hotel is the best in Belek and the staff are the best trained, professional and friendly in the region, which adds that extra dimension not apparent in most other 5 star properties. The Spa at the Serenity is a major highlight and they have a very highly skilled team of masseuses from all over the world including places as far away as Bali. The treatment rooms are all sumptuous and atmospheric and some treatments are done outside, in the garden areas. The indoor pool and hammams, saunas and steam rooms are all of the highest specification.
The landscaping of the resort is a major asset at Gloria Serenity Resort, the gardens are simply gorgeous, filled with pine trees and other species and a wide selection of flowering shrubs and plants which all add up to an oasis of greenery and colour throughout the year.
The accommodation at Gloria Serenity Resort is superb, the standard superior rooms are in 2 buildings which have superior garden view, sea facing or Laguna rooms, which are on the ground floor and have patios with very comfortable sun beds overlooking the Laguna pools, you can literally just walk out into the water for a morning swim. The superior rooms are 40 square metres with bathrooms that have jacuzzi baths and walk in showers, king size double or twin rooms and plenty of cupboard space with wooden floors which lead out to the ample balconies which overlook gardens, the Laguna pools and or the sea beyond over the line of pine and cypress trees. The 3 room categories in the main building are all the same size, it is just the balconies are different, the Laguna rooms having ground floor and sun beds rather than chairs. We would highly recommend paying a little more for sea facing or Laguna doubles, they are worth the modest supplement. The corner rooms in the main buildings are called Serenity Suites and have massive balconies with a hot tub, one bedroom suites, with a separate lounge to the bedroom. Ideal for 2 adults and a child!
The staff at Gloria Serenity Resort are the best in Belek, this is manifested in the lobby bar where the waitresses are very attentive and always on hand to ask you for another drink, no need to queue up at the bar, it is all table service. Charming and friendly staff in all areas, even the chamber maids wear a smile.

A la Carte - Gloria Serenity’s own corner of France, those Parisian favourites are here: Onion Soup, Warm Salmon marinated with Ginger, Chocolate Moelleux. And with them, fresh-baked Old World-style French breads famous for centuries.
Eagan Cuisine is like no other in the Middle East - warm, creative and spicy. A few of the specialties include pumpkin soup with truffle aroma, Thessaloniki style lamb arnaki with vegetables, and semolina halva with cinnamon ice cream. All are served in the warm and stylish ambiance graced by olive trees. Eat like a native. You'll quickly see why it's the region's cuisine of choice.
With magical tastes of Asia such as sushi platters, shrimp tempura, crispy duck, sweet and sour sea bass, this restaurant displays Asian cuisine at it’s best.
Chef favourites such as crab ravioli and wood fired pizza and minipannacotta are highly recommended, La Trattoria is for guests who simply must have their taste of Italy!
Reminiscent of a US Steakhouse, at Route 66 you can choose your steak and have it cooked to your exact liking.
Situated in the most beautiful part of the river with enchanting views, this restaurant offers the most delicious flavours of the sea.
The Old Course is Belek's third oldest golf course and was re-modelled in 2006 when the sumptuous Serenity Hotel was built, the last 3 holes were lost and new holes designed. The course is laid out through majestic umbrella pine trees, it is a course in the style of a Vilamoura course, all the emphasis is about where you place your drive, if you are erratic off the tee you will be in for a rough ride. Accuracy and not length is the issue. Water comes into play on the front nine particularly on holes 1 and 2 when all carry is required to get to the green. In 2013 the Old Course is being revamped, with new bunkers and new tees being constructed and some overhanging pine trees being trimmed back to make the dog legs slightly easier.
This is a more modern style of golf course, where there is more room for tee shots, but it is longer than the Old and has a lot more in terms of water hazards in play, especially off the tee. The 9th and 18th holes, both are flanked by long water hazards right down the length of the holes. The course is still played through umbrella pines, but they are not as dense as on the Old Course. Overall, the New course is one of Belek's easier courses, but it is still a very good test, rather similar to a Florida style resort course. The greens are raised and crowned in places but excellent to play on and larger than the Old Course.
It has taken me a while to reply but i wanted to say how pleased my party of six lady golfers were with all the arrangements for our golfing holidayin October. We travel every year to Belek and have stayed the last four years at Gloria Serenity. Whilst the hotel is not as glitzy as others in the area, the name conveys the ambience, no loud music or over enthusiastic staff constantly urging one to join in activities. The service is also impeccable. We look forward to arranging our 2016 annual trip with you. S.Hubbard (Oct.15)
Gloria Serenity was, as usual, very well run with some excellent meals in the speciality restuarants. The Aegean restaurant was outstanding. N.Wood(Oct.15)
As always we had a lovely trip and remain impressed by Gloria Serenity,t he courses and the service delivered. P.Lusby (Oct.15)
We had a wonderful time at Gloria Serenity and are very grateful to you for steering us to such a comfortable and excellent hotel. I was so pleased we were allocated a ground floor room which lead striaght out to the salt water pool. Transfers went without a hitch and all in all had a great holiday. Lady Brabazon (Aug.15)
I have stayed in several different all inclusive hotels in Belek and Gloria Serenity has reinstated my faith in this kind of holiday in Turkey. The rooms were lovely with large twin beds and a flower filled balcony. The resort was clean and well groomed throughout its considerable expanse. The staff were without exception polite, good humoured and helpful. The restaurants were all wonderful and the a la carte experiences were a delight. There was a peace and ambience to the Serenity that we all really appreciated and enjoyed. The golf was also excellent, the Old course with quite a bit of water, was challenging but was a fair test of golf and in lovely condition despite the time of year. The New course made for a really pleasant holiday round of golf. The practice facilities were also excellent with a good number of balls for a 2 euro token. Lilian King (May.15)
Fabulous hotel where we really enjoyed ourselves. We ate in the Asian and French restaurants both of which were excellent and the food in general is of a very good standard. The hotel is clean with lots of areas to sit and relax, all the staff were polite, courteous and helpful. I can definitely recommend this hotel - Pippa Lusby
Thank you for organising our holiday. From the moment we booked in at the airport to the moment we arrived back in the UK everything was as you planned for us. The transfers arranged by Matrix were excellent together with the service at the hotel. The hotel was exceptional together with the golf. I would have no hesitation in recommending Elegant Golf Resorts to anyone - Len Jacobs
As usual your service was excellent. Everything went to plan thanks to Elegant Golf's organisation. Matrix staff were all helpful and courteous. Staff, service and accommodation at Gloria Serenity were excellent, once again the villa was very comfortable. Food was excellent with a good variety. The holiday was enjoyed by all four of us and the men enjoyed the golf as usual. Viv Dickinson (Jun.14)
Just a quick note to say we had a great time in Turkey. The upgrade to Gloria Serenity was a real bonus and was greatly appreciated. We will probably book again next year in June and will look to you to find us a great deal at the Serenity again. Sean and Michael Usher (Jun.14)
This was a memorable holiday where the local facilities and the hospitality were second to none. Although my wife had previously stayed at the hotel, this was my first time and it exceeded expectations in every department. I should make a special mention of the local Matrix rep known as "Jeff" (Gevdec, I think), who was omni-present and made life so easy for us. We took an inspection visit to the Carya Regnum which looks astounding and maybe should be added to your list. So, our first experience with Elegant goes down as a good one. Peter Hagger (Jun.14)
Just back from holiday and reporting that everything went very well and we were very impressed with your organisation and that of Matrix. We will go again! Jane Laver (May.14)
Our Golfing Gals trips have gotten better year on year - if that trend continues we're looking forward to next year with bated breath because this year at Gloria Serenity was absolutely FABULOUS. Thank you so much, from all of us, for recommending the resort. We had such a good time …. we are all still on such a high. Upgrade to a Sea view Room? No - instead, we had an upgrade to a villa …… and not just one but one per pair! So we had doubles of everything including 2 secluded gardens with jacuzzis/hot tubs - amazing. You've been there so you must know what they're like. The staff, facilities, golf courses, restaurants (all of them) and "all inclusive" were faultless and the pristine resort had so much, other than golf, to offer - we wished we had two weeks, instead of just the one, to take full advantage of everything. So, David & David … what do you have in store for our next trip? It'll have to be really something to outdo Serenity. Lesley Colquhoun (May.14)
All the arrangements worked very smoothly. Matrix as always were prompt, courteous and helpful. Flights were broadly on time although our return was delayed somewhat by a Turkish official who thought some missing paint was a crack and initially refused us permission to fly! Resolved quite quickly thank goodness. The hotel overall was excellent with spacious and comfortable bedrooms, attentive staff, lovely grounds with a host of separate areas to sit and relax in etc. Only minor criticisms were that the swimming area is a bit like a moat with limited access and no real dedicated pool area; also we were all slightly disappointed with the specialist restaurants with the exception of the French one. However probably the best hotel we’ve stayed in so far in Belek. All the golf courses were in excellent order and tee-times were adhered to; the only problem with the whole holiday was my golf!! Brian Elcome (Apr.14)
We flew to Turkey on the 10th April and would travel in future about 2 or 3 weeks later. The outside restaurants and bars should then be fully open for the summer season. Golf - the least popular course for us was the Old course - too hard and too long for 17+ golfers. However we did enjoy the New course and look forward to playing it again. Matrix - always helpful and reliable. On the last day they arranged dinner in Antalya at 6 p.m. for us. They picked us up from the Serene at 4 p.m. and, after dinner, they took us to the airport for a late Easyjet flight. Elegant Golf - always very helpful! John Pugh (Apr.14)
We had an excellent holiday in Turkey. The golf courses, Gloria Serenity Hotel and Matrix were all perfect. The National was in excellent condition this year. The only criticism would be the flights - no legroom unless you are a midget! Next time I will investigate alternatives as even the budget carriers provide more space. All in all it was a great break and very relaxing. I look forward to booking a similar trip next year if I can get the time off at Easter 2015. Many thanks for your help in planning our holiday.
