The Westin is located in the midst of Abu Dhabi National Golf Course, it is the only pure golf resort hotel in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, within easy walking distance of the clubhouse and the driving range. Here you can stay on the venue for the amazing HSBC Open in January every year. A classic test of golf and a challenge on every hole, if it is good enough for the cream of the European Tour it is good enough for our best clients. The hotel is a first class 5 star hotel with very good service levels, attentive and professional staff and with a real expertise on looking after business groups as well as individual golf clients. The rooms are well appointed, the cuisine superb and the buffet lunches and dinners are nothing short of sumptuous. We would recommend this venue for a break of 3 to 5 nights as it is not on the beach, a 7 night stay or longer would be better to choose a beach property perhaps.
The Westin is located on the middle of Abu Dhabi Golf Club – just 10 minutes away from downtown Abu Dhabi and 25 minutes from Saadiyat and Yas Links courses. The Abu Dhabi Inernational airport is about 25 minute’s drive away.

To complement the course, this Abu Dhabi golf club features a floodlit driving range, a nine-hole par three academy course, and an exceptional 4,000-square-metre clubhouse. As a recommendation from Elegant Golf Resorts, this was an excellent choice, the hotel, golf courses and price all exceeded our expectations. Darren Guiver (Oct.14)
The trip went smoothly including all elements of transport and the hotel was excellent, service and friendliness. The only thing for me was the only al a carte restaurant rather than the buffet was Moroccan which I don’t eat ! so stuck with buffet. The golf clubhouse at Abu Dhabi National good and has evening restaurant too which we used with table service .The golf courses for quality I rate in following order as does my husband: Yas Island immaculate, stunning and difficult, greens undulating and super fast! Clubhouse one of the best i have seen for quality. Then Abu Dhabi National and Saadyat equal for different reasons greens normal speed to, most amateurs the gulf location of the latter super. All busy. The only other thing is i would allow extra half hour for pick up from driver from golf to allow time for drink and to eat.Overall we found everything great including flights. - Sue Holmyard
